When I log in as a vt100 using vt100 2.9, I see the screen formatting commands instead of vt100 interpreting them. This happens whether I use my init file or use the default (by running the program with -i). I don't have the problem with vt100 2.8A. Any suggestions? Yes, match your parity to what your host thinks is your parity. The problem stems from the fact that I "corrected" a problem in 2.8A and prior versions which always stripped the high-order bit from in-bound serial data. In 2.9A (the patch release which is in beta-test now) I provide a new menu item and script command which requests that VT100 always strip parity from in-bound data which is destined for the terminal. }Ken Steele Dept. of Psychology kms@ecsvax[.bitnet] } Mars Hill College kms@ecsvax.uncecs.edu } Mars Hill, NC 28754 {some big name site}!mcnc!ecsvax!kms --- Tony Sumrall author of VT100 2.9 (and 2.8a and 2.8 and...) acs@pccuts.pcc.amdahl.com <=> amdahl!pccuts!acs [ Opinions expressed herein are the author's and should not be construed to reflect the views of Amdahl Corp. ]
