I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who uses A2000's for television work, titling and that kind of thing, in college. He's been having problems with his memory expansion (A2058, populated to 2 MB) and his XT bridgeboard ( the standard Commodore one- I can't remember the exact name). The problem is that these two refuse absolutely to work together. Both work on their own, it's only when they are on the same machine that there are problems. The memory-expansion was bought last January but the shop have not been able to help. He's tried to put them on three different A2000's and has tried two different XT boards but all to no avail. The only thing he can think of is something with must be wrong with the memory board, possibly in the way he set it up. He's set the jumper leads for 2 MB, but that did not help. Is there anyone out there who could help? We don't neccessarily want to fix it- even to know what went wrong would be nice. Sorry if the explanation is a bit muddled, but I'm only a poor A500 owner. Any help at all appreciated. Please use E-mail.
