I've just recieved a copy of Scriptit. I have not yet tried to use it... Just cuising thru the docs. If this program does what it claims, it will be the single greatest boon to the Amiga since colour monitors! Briefly it is a scripting system similar to arexx, except that it hacks into intuition and can simulate ANY user input to ANY program. Thus from WP I could call up a script that will save my document in a suitable format, invoke a terminal program, log into the work mainframe, transfer the document, startup the mainframe's wp package, transfer the document to that format, save, exit, log off, delete transfer file. While I keep working! OK, you say, I can do that with AREXX. Well, my reply is: You are a better man than I, because I am having a dog of a time learning AREXX. Two other important points are: This thing has a script recorder for those who can't think their way through the problem (Just DO it, a script will be written as you go). You can use ANY programs. The above could be done with notepad and the orriginal kermit! PLUS:: IT'S GOT AN AREXX PORT!!!!! You gotta have a look at this one! Regards Alan
