[comp.sys.amiga] Princeton Graphics Ultrasync

marsella@athos.rutgers.edu (Stacy Marsella) (12/23/89)

Monitor time again:

Has anyone tried a Princeton Graphics Ultrasync on the Amiga
(in particular an Amiga 500 - no flicker fixer).
It's a 12 inch monitor with a fine dot pitch - .28 mm.
Does it work well? Does it handle interlace?

While I am on the subject, does the NEC IIA handle interlace
(apparently the original NEC multisyncs had problems with interlace)

And finally, does anyone have experiences to report with regards to
using the panasonic multisync - the C1391 - on an amiga.

Thanks a bundle for any help (buying a monitor for an amiga is never
very easy)

I tried had one hooked up to my amiga for about a month. The picture looked
great, with very square pixels (as opposed to round). One problem I noticed
was that the monitor made a wierd hum when it was hooked up to the amiga, but
made no nose when hooked up to the IBM in EGA mode.
