I recently purchased a Supra SCSI interface for my A500, and daisy- chained the interface between my A500 and my external RAM box, Byte-By-Byte's BYTE BOX (w/ 2 Megs onboard). When I re-boot (cold or warm), the machine hangs. I traced the problem to the Byte Box, since the interface works fine by itself. By removing the "TEST" internal jumper in the Byte Box, the machine boots but reports "No SCSI Drive found". I have experimented with the other jumpers on-board, and they change nothing (?) Could someone give me a clue as to the functions of the jumpers in the Byte Box, and how I can get the hard drive and the extra memory to work together? (info: Amiga 500, A501 512K module, CA-880 external floppy drive, Supra A500 SCSI interface, Byte-by-Byte's BYTE BOX (w/ 2 Megs). BTW: I don't have Kickstart 1.3, so the autoboot chip on the interface was removed.)
