[ How about comp.sys.amiga.stuff.I.dont.want.to.read ??? ] Could someone post a quick description of how to use the morerows program? I have Marco's (thanks) version, but it didn't arrive with any docs. I thought that I knew how to use it, but I obviously failed. Thanks, -- Jim Pritchett UUCP: {attctc|texbell}!letni!caleb!jdp

Usage for morerows: MOREROWS [-ROWS #of rows] [-COLUMNS #of columns] If you just run morerows with no parameters you will get the current amounts. If you want 80x50 or 80x25 non-interlaced use: MOREROWS -ROWS 8 -COLUMNS 24 After running morerows run preferences and save. On rebooting you will get a workbench and CLI that are larger. I suggest moving the screen to the upper left hand corner before saving preferences -- _____________________________________________________________________________ ____ ____ ___ Earle Ake /___ /___/ / / Science Applications International Corporation ____// / / /__ Dayton, Ohio ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet: fac2%dayton.saic.com@uunet.uu.net uucp: uunet!dayvb!fac2

It's a shareware 'replacement' for Preferences that allows you to increase your WB screen size with 'intuitive' slider gadgets... Much easier than with MoreRows. BTW, how many MORE ROWS can some of you get with various monitors. With my 'cheap' Magnavox RGB Monitor 40, I get 736 x 229 Non-Interlaced... not bad ----- Wendell Dingus FONE: (615)/246-6015 USENET: ...uunet!medsys!wendell
