I have been trying to download Newtek1 to my Amiga 2000. It is too large for my 3.5 drives so I unZOOed it and am trying to send the warped files down. The problem is one of the warped files is 1704 blocks long and does not want to fit on a disk. before I start I check info and it has plenty of space (I deleted trashcan and .info) but 20 blocks from compleation I am out of disk space. Any ideas how to get this demo. Is this extra diskspace used by kermit overhead or file structure? I only have one meg of memory and no harddrive. Am I SOL? I've rewarped the NewTek Demo Reel 1 using LHWARP, which gives substantially better compression than the old WARP. Also, I have broken the files out of the Zoo and into their own directory. On my Amiga, the new warps are now easily small enough to fit: NEWTEK1-1.LHW 1338 ----rwed Today 13:57:54 NEWTEK1-2.LHW 1436 ----rwed Today 14:31:27 anonymous ftp from xanth.cs.odu.edu, in /amiga/demos/newtek-1/: -rw-r--r-- 1 tadguy public 685482 Dec 28 14:54 disk-1.lhw -rw-r--r-- 1 tadguy public 735551 Dec 28 14:54 disk-2.lhw Don't forget that you'll need the (relatively) new LHWARP to unpack these (/amiga/lhwarp-1.02.zoo).
