When she gets to the '!' prompt on Compuserve, she should type:

   go amigatech

She should then 'join' the forum (no extra charge, she'll just enter her name
and she'll be a member. At the 'Forum!' prompt, she should type:

   lib 15

At the 'LIB 15 !' prompt...

   bro

(that stands for BROwse) She will see a file and description....

The best choice is 2 (B or B+) if she has that available. Very fast.
Second best choice is probably XModem, worst choices are Kermit or DC2/DC4.

Once the download is done, she can hit a <RETURN> twice, and see the next
description. There are 3 files altogether, the one above, and these...

Sorry if this is more than your friend needs to know, but I figure it's better
to give you too much than not enough.

perley@graffiti (Donald P Perley) (12/27/89)

A few months ago there was a flurry of postings (flames) about
Workbench 1.3.2 being on compuserve and bix, but not usenet.

As a workaround, I am going to ask a friend on compuserve (not an amigoid)
to download it for me. What information do I have to give her about
where to find it?

If that fails (ie she says no) I have this startup coupon for bix. What do
I need to know there, so I don't blow the whole 15 bucks before I figure
out how to transfer it? Is Kermit the appropriate program to use?

Please respond by mail. If I get requests, I will post the answers.
