[comp.sys.amiga] X-Specs? Anyone using them?

Has anyone done anything interesting with X-Specs (the 3-D glasses)?

Any new programs for them at all?

Just asking 'cause I haven't seen any discussion about them for a long time.

I havev X-Specs and recently pruchased DigiPaint3. DigiPaint 3 has a
3D mode. You set it to use an interlace screen. Then you click one key
and it draws one field , ie the alternate lines that are displayed to one
eye. You click another key to draw in the other field for the other eye.

It is relatively easy to make simple 3D objects, for example balls etc
that seem to stand out in front of the screen. I have just played with
it a bit. I suspect with a little more practice and skill one could do
so very dramatic 3D pictures or animations. I have also used Live! to
digitize images of objects from two reference points a few inches apart
and then used them to create 3D images. I have not yet used this in
combination with DigiPaint3 to do anything, I suspect it will make
a powerful combination.

It is a lot of fun to do these things. I hope I find something really
useful to do to justify my expense.
