Hi folks, I have the following problem with FF1: I added an autoboot hard disk to my Amiga 2000A and had the dealer also replace Kickstart 1.2 by 1.3. Now the following effect occurs: When I start Ferrari Formula One by booting from the floppy, everything seems to go ok. But on any race track - as soon as the car moves - strange ghost images occur in every frame. Could it be that the hard disk is also booted and some tasks in the startup sequence conflict with FF1? (I doubt about that). I wouldn't like to disconnect the hard disk (or even change ROMs!) any time I want to play FF1... FF1 was the first game I bought for my B2000 at Christmas of 1988, and like your copy it would crash when I tried to drive the car (I didn't have a hard disk, so that's not the determining factor). I called EA and they admitted FF1 wouldn't work with KS 1.3, and that they had no plans to upgrade it. I returned my copy; too bad, it looked like a neat game.
