i have an a1000 with a micron 2mb ram card. on saturday i started getting some bizarre system crashes. i hauled out the memory test software provided by micron and they pointed to a bad chip. fine. but the software crapped out after identifying just one chip; i have no idea if there's more. is there any reasonably generic memory test software that will continue after finding a bad chip? thanks. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Think I'll stay in bed Rick Pim, Physics Dept. There is one on BERKS AMIGA BBS that is generic in nature. It runs on all models of the Amiga and simply tests all known memory (IE: it does not test non-autoconfig memory that has not been addmem'ed). Im not sure of the exact file name and/or size but a keyword search will find it. If you need any help just ask one of the SYSOP's.
