I have resently heard rumors of an inexepensive hardware gadget that allows you duplicate any copyprotected disks. I would like to here from anyone who uses one. 1) How easy is it to use? 2) How well does it work? 3) What does it cost? These were the Synchro Express from Coast to Coast and a preview of a copier being done by the same guy who did the option board for Central Point. I can say at this point that they are both JUNK and I wouldn't waste a dime on them. We tried three originals on them. They were Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, and Beyond Dark Castle. The Synchro did make bootable copies, but sooner or later (usually sooner) the copies bombed with a disk error. The other copier wouldn't even reproduce bootable disks, but it is possible that there was something messed with it, because it was a beta. So the my verdict is, WAIT. Until they get something that works 100%, don't believe the claims in the ads. The ads for the Synchro Express are bonifide B.S.
