Hi All, I got a hard drive for my A500 for Christmas. (A supra with a 40meg,11ms Quantum in it, the thing kicks but that's besides the point). I'm looking for suggestions on a hard drive backup Utility. I'm leaning toward getting Quarterback. Is there anything better? I just want to know what some of your experiences are so I can make a good choice. Is there anything in the public domain (or shareware) that is worth mentioning? Help ALL!!: I just backed up my hard drive the other day (01.07), and have a 11meg file on my second partition. I backed it up using Matt Dillons Backup /restore program with this: Backup -c FF1: -oFF2:ff1/Backup01.07 and it backed it up no problems. Now, I try and restore it with : Restore Backup01.07 (it's CD'd to FF2:ff1), and it goes to it. It then gets to file VIDPLAY (vidEfx3d), and it spews out "unknown file type" or something like that. Right now, I'm trying again with restore -c Backup01.07. Is this the right way to do it? I sure hope so.... Daniel Richardson RIT-Mechanical Engineering
