My A1000 runs just fine with a 2-meg expansion board, a Wedge hard disk interface, an A1010 3 1/2-inch external drive, an A-Max (complete with a Cutting Edge Mac-compatible drive), and an A1020 5 1/4-inch external drive (which probably doesn't count because it's self-powered). Either the power supply is adequate or I'm just lucky. Charlie_Gibbs@mindlink.UUCP I'm looking for the stationery department but they keep moving it.

Hi, I know it is an old subject, but my friend needs the solution really bad, so I bring it up again. He want to hook up a Mac drive to his A-Max setup, and already have an external drive and a 2 meg expansion. All of them draw power from the computer. I let him play with my Mac Drive but it doesn't work very well and seems to me it was the power supply. And I believe there must be solution to that. So, if anyone can tell me what my friend can do in order to fix the problem, we will be very appreciated. Thank you! - Morris
