jwb@ksuvax1.cis.ksu.edu (Jeff W. Brogden) (01/11/90)
I have been messing aroung with 2d/3d wire frame objects, and animating
these objects on the Amiga. My problem is "flashing". I've tried several
techniques, but I always end up with some flashing going on (i.e. the object
appears to blink off then on).
Then I downloaded the wildcopper demo from xanth.cs.odu.edu. Wow! That's
what I want. Smooth 3d wire frame rotations, etc.
Q: Is this possible without taking over the machine, and without using
a double-buffered display?
If so, point me in the direction of some PD stuff, with source preferable.
I seem to remember a wire frame demo that had some pretty good/smooth
animation in one of the badge dir on xanth somewhere. I think it should
be possible.
Thanks in advance. E-mail responses to me at the address below.
