[comp.sys.amiga] Tiny Tiger problems

I tried posting this reply yesterday, but I don't think it made it to
the Net. So here goes again...

I had the same problem with a Tiny Tiger several months ago. After calling
MAST, I cut the three capacitors, and the drive has worked fine ever since.
(I never received a new set of capacitors. They are not needed.)
It seems to me that MAST is not at fault here. The problem is that Commodore
produced A1000s with at least two different models of motherboard, not to
mention the A500 and A2000. For example, my A1000 does not have extra-half-
brite. I thought that MAST handled the problem very well. They were quick,
courteous, and very helpful. I am quite happy with the Tiny Tiger, and with
MAST.

Just cut those capacitors. It's not hard to do!
