Hello all. I'm looking for a cheap compilable language to work with on my Amiga 500 (1 meg memory, one external floppy). The ones I was considering are: -GFA Basic -F-Basic -Modula-2 I'm under the impression there's more than one Modula compiler on the market, but I don't know the differences between those available. Any suggestions for which one would be most useful for a novice programmer to purchase to learn programming AND be able to access with the greatest ease possible the advanced graphics and sound capabilities of the Amiga? Before someone mentions C, just let me say that I am a poverty-stricken grad student, and all those C compilers cost $250+ here in Canada. :-) I know C is "hot" and I plan to learn it sometime, but only when I graduate and start making the big bucks. Please send all responses to me as I usually read the comp-sys-amiga postings long after they are current. Thank you! Dave
