I have a UUCP connection to my Amiga.. it actually goes through Darrin's Amiga to get to mine and he has a connection to pacbell. So: pacbell.pacbell.com!sorinc!overload!dillon or sorinc!overload!dillon@pacbell.pacbell.com | ^ | my Amiga. ^ Darrin's Amiga email to postgres will be redirected to overload. The connections are relatively reliable. I have implemented a nearly complete sendmail in my-offshoot-of-UUCP-that-will-hopefully-be-reintegrated- into-the-Loftus-Release which now does everything but domain routing. The distribution will be ready once domain routing goes in. It can already do /usr/lib/aliases type of aliases. Needless to say, sending email to me will help test the system. -Matt

: :Just curious if this distribution of UUCP uses windows > 1. I am :running an old release & the data transfer rate is painfully slow. : :-- Y.E.S. ! window size is 2, throughput is almost double and error recovery is much faster. ... two days to go till my berkeley account goes away, sigh. btw, email to my berkeley account will be routed to my UUCP'd Amiga. Until Darrin (sorinc!magik) and I get news-routing working I will not have access to comp.sys.amiga* -Matt
