The rumors are true . . . Creative Microsystems, Inc. (CMI) has discontinued operation. The product line, including the inventory, has been sold. The product line will continue to be marketed and manufactured by another company. That company is: digiFeX 610 Main Street Oregon City, OR 97045 I am a former employee of CMI (if you think this is hard on you think how it is for me -- I still don't have a job). From what I understand, digiFeX is a company that specializes in video hardware. They will soon be marketing a new line of video products for the Amiga that they have been working on. In addition, they will market CMI'S Amiga products including: Video Interfaces, Processor Accelerators, Multi-Port Board, MIDI, and AppleTalk (when they are done with their evaluation). I don't have their phone number yet, but I'll post it when I do. I'm also not sure what arrangements have been made for customer service for CMI's old customers. Steven R Fordyce

As I have said before, Creative Microsystems, Inc. (CMI) has discontinued operation. The product line will continue to be marketed and manufactured a long with new products by digiFeX: digiFeX 610 Main Street Oregon City, OR 97045 (503)656-8818 FAX (503)656-8903 I used to work for CMI, but I have just started for digiFeX. We are having trouble at the moment with the FAX . . . I'm not sure when we'll get it fixed. digiFeX can't honor CMI's warranties, but we will answer questions, and will upgrade people who to newer versions at our cost. There were some customer returns at CMI when they folded. We have those, and we will be going though them and contacting people. If you are one of those people you may want to call though. We have the following products for sale: Video Interfaces VI500 VI500RF VI2000 VI2000RF Processor Accelerators PA500 PA1000 PA2000 Multi-Port Board MPB2000, internal for 2000 AppleTalk software Multi-Port in February. MIDI Interfaces External, works on all Amiga's Call for price and availability. If you have other questions, send me email at the address below. uunet!sequent!ether!stevef Steven R Fordyce

Hello there. I have a PRocessor Accelerator for my B2000. # megs of RAM XT Bridgeboard, ( I mean "3" megs of RAM. 1 meg agnus. The problem is that when I run the accelerator in fast mode the bridgeboard wont work with any of the Janus functions. By that I mean anything that uses the Amiga side for transfer back and forth like the Amiga harddisk working on the IBM side, the clock wont set on the IBM side, Aread an Awrite dont work, jlink doesnt work. Al these things lock the IBM side up when try to work them. They work fine when I slow the accelerator down to 1 MHz mode but then that defeats the purpose of having the processor accelerator in the first place since I use the Amiga while I am using the IBM side. DO you know if there is a fix for this or if I have a defective accelerator. Let me check a serial number or something... I don't see a serial number anywhere but the box says "PAMC-2000/500" with 2000 circled. It doesn't have the co-processor either. Any help?
