I'm back to the net. My ex-feeding site had a severe crash, and it took me some time (= some months) to find another one and get up and running (I'm living in Switzerland, you know :-). I don't know if this new address of mine will last...we shall see. So sorry to everybody who didn't got their mail answered. Now for the following: I would like to use Sculpt Animate 4D animations in Animagic. However, SA (unfortunately) uses a special type of animation recording called J-type animation. Can I convert it somehow to an Animagic compatible format? I cannot save the images and create the animation with a tool like GrabAnim, I don't have tens of megs free hard drive space. Concerning SA4D - I sent in my registration card autumn last year, asking for the update to V 2.09. I haven't heard anything from Byte by Byte until now, while I got a letter to several other companies like Syndesis (just for an information) answered rather quickly. If I buy a software that costs 600 US$ (in Switzerland) I'd like at least to get some updates. The fact that I didn't hear anything rather disappoints me. I've also just received Matt Dillon's AmigaUUCP1.0 stuff, it's great. Thanks a lot, Matt. However, I still have my old problem with uucico (with uucico supplied with JDCP it didn't happen): Somehow uucico is sending the login name and the password too fast (I have a 2500 with a US Robotics HST polling at (sigh) 2400 baud). The other site just doesn't work this fast :-).....it doesn't get the password. I can include \r's or \d's in the l.sys file, nothing helps. However, if I slow uucico by giving a uucico -x9, everything works. I modified the old uucico V0.5 to print comments even if debug was 0 and thus slowing it down. Of course this is not the cleanest solution, has anybody a better one? I also wonder why it works with that other uucico supplied with JDCP..... -- ------------------------------------ Chris Brand - wizard@sosaria.imp.com "Justice is the possession and doing of what one is entitled to" - Platon ------------------------------------
