My roomate told me he saw a full blown Amiga system while picking up his repaired 1084s yesterday at Commotech in San Diego (National City). What was interesting was that they were using that nice big 20" Sun Sparc monitor (the squarish slick one often seen with the Sun SparcStations) on the Amiga 2000 /68030 setup. My roomy said the resolution was really high (1024X768) and it was sharp & crispy in color. The guy on it was working on a few shell windows. What I was wondering is what display adapter are they using? Now I know you can get hires overscan with the flickerfixer (768X480) or get 1024X800 with the Viking Moniterm, but that's in grey scale. Can ECS do it? Inquiring minds want to know. -Viet vho@ucsd.edu
