Recent complaints about replies to notes which are not
explanatory of the issue or question addressed have some
foundation. I am guilty of this laziness, as are many others.

The ultimate Orphaned Response has just appeared in net.singles
    (yes, I was THAT bored):

		"Good Riddance."

This is given as being from "tekid:unknown". This brings us to
    our contest:

	1. think of a funny orphaned response. Send it to
	   an appropriate newsgroup. Examples:

"But she had it coming." [net.women]
		"No, you're thinking of Apollo 12." [net.space]

(Well, you could think of better ones, I'm sure.)

	2. match an orphaned reponse with a later note, in the
	   funniest possible way.

I'll summarize, if I see a significant number of either of these.
