You never know... :I can also refer you to certain screen shots that have been published in :Amazing Computing showing the new Amiga "Hand", which is apparently :animated. As far as I am aware by reading these articles, this redesign :is happenning. Unfortunately, I can say no more. Hi, this is my first post since last year and my second post. I just wanted to agree with this guy. Post the screenshots! I also want to hear more about the animated hand. Does ANYBODY have a rough release date for 1.4? How's about a cost guestimate? My most important gripe with the WB "look and feel" was/is the high-resolution version with the squished icons and gadgets, the tiny text, and (of course) the flicker. Has any significant "proportionalizing" (is that a word?) been done for the hi-res and/or productivity modes? Improved Icon resolution? If anybody has any screenshots, send them! (I have one of an alpha version from way back that is roughly the same as 1.3 in style. More importantly, what's the news on the "Student Representative Program" that C-A is working on? I've been trying to become one here at Union college, and I recently got a letter from Dr. Harrison stating they are working on a program for selected Universities. What's the deal? Does "selected universities" mean "big ones with lots of money"? I'm at Union College, just north of RPI. We have a great CS program (and an amiga in the Arts department) but only 2100 students. Do I have a prayer???
