I've acquired a very cheap RGB color monitor which I am trying to hook up to my 1000. It is an Electorohome monitor which was used quite well as an Apple // Analog color monitor. When I hook it up (using r,g,b,csync, gnd - the monitor has no hsync or vsync input) the picture comes out seriously shifted to the left. The Workbench window is about 2 inches off. Playing with the horizontal centering inside of the monitor doesn't help much at all, nor does vertical centering. I've also been told that the schematics for this puppy are long gone ( by Electrohome). So, is there any nice handy horizontal centering in the 1000? Since I didn't find anything useful on a quick prowl through the schematic , I doubt that I should be so lucky. So, my question is: Is there a resistor anywhere on the 1000 that could be replaced by a variable resistor so as to offer control over horizontal centering of an rgb monitor.
