To the best of my knowlege, no one has ported the Korn shell to the Amiga. However, I have written one that is "tolerably close". It provides many of the ksh features (such as filename completion, emacs line editing, etc), and also has a script language that is "tolerably close" to the ksh version (although its lacking a few things such as the case...esac statement - that might be fixed soon). Its called SKsh, and the latest version (1.3) was posted to comp.binaries.amiga by Tad Guy. It is also available on one of the more recent Fish disks. I've forgotten the number, but I think it was in the low 300's. If you want a similar environment to ksh on Un*x, it should meet your needs. If you want to run ksh scripts unmodified, it won't. - steve (koren@hpfela.HP.COM)
