[comp.sys.amiga] C programming

mfg@castle.ed.ac.uk (M Gordon) (02/02/90)

I recently posted a question asking about the minimum system needed to make a
compiler usable. Thanks to the following for their responses.

	KENNEDY%wwpacs%dupont.com@net.cs.relay
	chris@edu.utexas.cm.star2
	mapjilg@bath.ac.uk
	robin@sabre.uucp
	schwager@m.cs.uiuc.edu
	UH2@psuvm.psu.edu
	kms@edu.uncecs
	alex%bilver@net.eu.relay
	ludde@se.kth.nada
	stevep@uk.co.bt.galadriel
	871579l@ca.acadiau
	phorgan@com.portal.cup
	poirier@com.dg.dg-rtp
	whitwiz!danny

The general consensus seemed to be that a 1M twin floppy system was usable,
provided the compiler and perhaps the C library were kept on the ram disk. Most
people recommended eventually getting a hard disk which I will do when I can
afford it.

Thanks again.
