Digital RGB monitors (also called RGBI monitors) only display 16 colors.
These are commonly used for some EGA systems. You'll want an ANALOG RGB
monitor.

>>>>>	Does the scan rate mean much? (higher is better?!?)

The scan rate is extremely important. You arrive at this rate by
multiplying the "line times per frame" times the frames per second.
(Line times per frame is the number of lines displayed + the time for
the vertical blanking as if it were additional lines. 525 for most US
systems.) So for the normal Amiga NTSC output we get 525 lines/frame *
30 frames/second = 15,750 lines (Hz) per second. If you get a
flicker-fixer, or plan to use the enhanced chip set, you will be looking
at 60 frames/second, so you will want a monitor that supports 31.k KHz.
as well as 15.75KHz.

>>>>	All else equel, which is the better monitor?

Unless I was *SURE* that I'd never have a use for looking at "standard"
Amiga output (15.75KHz) I'd go with the NEC.
