Part 01 of the recently posted UUCP1.03D *sources* (Message-ID <11272@xanth.cs.odu.edu>, Posting-Number: Volume 90, Issue 045) contains an error on line 641. The string ``END_OF_FILE'' was accidentally appended to the line ``X1996'' because that line didn't end in a newline in the original file. Simply insert a newline before the ``END_OF_FILE'' before unshar'ing (I suspect most people can figure this out themselves, but I've already receive a few messages about it). Needless to say, I'm going to modify my posting scripts to handle this... Also, the file man/Standards (which was split in the sources posting) may be corrupted at some sites because the file contained carriage-returns to cause bold print on impact printers. If in doubt, use the copy from the binaries posting. I don't know if any of the other man files have this same problem. ...tad
