I've got a wierd problem with an internal floppy drive on my 2500.
The floppy occasionally becomes unable to read or write to disks. All disks
that are put in the drive show up as BAD DISK. When this problem occurs it
may stay around for days, even with a complete powerdown, or it may go away
the next time I do a soft reset. I've taken it to a shop were they ran a
test program on the drive all day long with no problems. Two weeks after I
brought the machine home the problem showed up again. When the drive is
functioning correctly I can read/write to disks with no problems, and other
machines can read the disks I write so it's probably not an alignment problem.
Anyone have any ideas?????
