Announcing a mailing list for Amiga hypermedia/multimedia - Our goal - Actively (but politely!) discuss technical, practical aspects of using available Amiga multimedia products. Those products include (alphabetically) CanDo Deluxe Video III Director InterActor Thinker UltraCard VIVA and the list will include other products as they are released (i.e. for a start, we'll expand to ShowMaker and hopefully the Commodore Authoring System just as soon as anybody in the group gets their mitts on 'em.) The emphasis will be on positive, how-to suggestions, mutual aid, and information sharing (y'know, bragging!) about all the way-cool things we're doing with the Amiga products. (We can discuss products by saying what we do with them, but this is NOT a forum for folks to ask which product is "best" before deciding on a project and/or purchase.) We especially welcome folks who have done and/or are currently doing projects with hypermedia/multimedia on the Amiga, but anybody who's interested is welcome to join. Mail your request to me, ruslan@ecsvax.uncecs.edu, and I'll add you on the mailing list. P.S. For those new to the nets, a mailing list is a group of folks who send each other email via a designated mail site and a sort of userid for the "list." If you're on a list, then you get everything mailed to the "list," and you send mail to the userid of the "list" when you want your message to go to everyone on the list.
