We have the Hydra Systems AmiNet for the Amiga 2000 at my head office. It looks very nice and we could find no problems with it. It currently has no security but using ignorance you could set it up with autobooting disks that are missing the necessary files to do serious damage. It uses DOS device; it will not use Exec devices. Hydra Systems is working on an Amiga 500 version (non-DMA) of the board. The Amiga 2000 version is DMA and has CheaperNet and EtherNet connections. We have a few Amigas hooked up on our PC CheaperNet system right now. The Amigas and PCs cannot communicate with each other but they do not interfer either; thus we have one set of cabling for two seperate CheaperNet systems. If you have any specific questions I can see about find the answers. We don't have any literature on the boards yet. Darrell --- * Via ProDoor 3.1R
