[comp.sys.amiga] Used Amiga prices

zebr360@ut-emx.UUCP (Head UNIX Hacquer) (02/06/90)

There exists a magazine, MIS Weekly, that prints the prices asked, bid, and
current for various computers. Its the first one that actually show the
Amiga and lists the five major models (A500, A1000, A2000, A2000HD, and A2500)
these prices are bid on a computer market in New York City and it also lists
various other brands of Personal Computers.

Tomorrow, when my copy arrives, I will endevor to post the entire list to the
net for your perusal. The last numbers that I saw were:

           Model Asked Bid Current
           A500 550 350 450
           A1000 650 450 550
           A2000 1350 1250 1300
           A2000HD 1450 1300 1375
           A2500 1950 1550 1750

Will post current numbers tomorrow.

on prices of used computers that this list would be beneficial

I'm not familiar with the Nat'l Computer Exchange (even tho I live
near New York !!!). Is this some place where I can buy used stuff?

If those are used computer prices, then it seems to be a better deal
than the CA upgrade offer. Or is there something I'm missing?

If this place sells Amigas, can I simply call them up and buy
stuff from them?
