I just made yet another trip to hard disk hell. My configuration is A500, A501, Supra 30Meg w/ 2Meg memory upgrade, ARP, QMouse and Handshake. I ran Snap and tried to Snap a block from Handshake into a mail message I was sending out. I was having some trouble getting the block "just so", and in the process of key pressing, a stream of "off center" characters got sent to my CLI, which was an AShell. It sent about 5 lines of characters, which appeared on the screen to be question marks. My hard drive started to spin. And spin. Finally, after about 30 seconds, it was done, and done for good. I now have more R/W errors on that drive than I could possibly count. Could someone please tell me WHY this happened, and should I throw Snap into that bit-bucket circular file I normally reserves for Viruses? Oh well, off to delete those 23 copies of Empty.info in my root directory.... Dave Buchthal
