I think we should initiate a pool for guessing the official release date of Berkeley Unix 4.2bsd. That which was supposed to be done last December is still being withheld from us. We could have someone neutral like Armando Stettner or Lady Arwen hold all the money, which would be distributed with appropriate ceremonies to those who guessed the big date correctly. Of course, employees of the University of California, their families, friends, and enemies, as well as Bill Joy and Bill Shannon would be ineligible. -- Ben Goldfarb
