Assumption: You are talking about the right joystick port.

According to my schematic (yours may differ slightly)...

                                    +5V
                                     _ 74LS157
                                     | ______
                                     > RP200 | |
Connector < | U202 |----- _C1
--------- +-------+ | | |
  pin 4 ----+---------| FB204 |------+----------|6 4|----- M1V
            | +-------+ | 7|----- M1H
           --- | 9|----- M0V
           --- C248 | 12|----- M0H
            | | 13|---+
            | | | |
          ----- | | -----
           --- +------+ ---
            - -

Notes: FB204 is a ferrite bead, and should have no physical connection with the
circuit. Most likely culprits are U202 or C248 (in that order).

Hope this helps.

It seems that my 2000 has suffered an injury. A few weeks ago I was flying
F18 when my plane began to roll to the right as if I was pushing the joystick
to the right (even though I wasn't). Even with an uncontrollable F18 and 3
Migs in my tail I was still able to kill 2 of the Migs with those wonderful
Sparrows and bail out. I disassembled the joystick and found that one of the
switches had failed and possibly shorted, so I tossed it aside and haven't
played a game since (I mostly do animations and painting on my Amy). Just the
other day I cranked up F18 for another flight when whadda you know? The plane
iss still rolling! Even with NO joystick or keyboard plugged in! I tried a
few other games that use joy2 and they all exhibit this behavior. It seems
like something has gone amiss inside the Amiga that's making it think that
joystick 2 is always pushed to the right. What could cause this? I think I
fried something.. and the *REALLY* weird thing is that the joystick that broke
on me was wireless! It's a Camerica Infrared Freedom Stick. Any takers on
this? Please?
