[comp.sys.amiga] arp header files

NU105451@NDSUVM1.BITNET (Walter Reed) (03/14/88)

Arp 1.04 was recently posted to the net. It contained programming
information. One thing it lacked was the arpbase.h and arpbase.i
files. Could someone post these to the net?
I suggest comp.sys.amiga since there is quite a delay on the
moderated sources group. I would like to do some utilities that
use the wonderful arp.library I have all the docs for. If I have
the offsets for the arp functions, I could create a #pragma header
for lattice...

(I would accept Emailed files too :-)

I was hoping the v1.1 would be ready along with the user level commands,
etc. (which have been sent to the moderators). Unfortunately, this does
not seem to be the case. So ... I've just sent the v1.04 version of the
Developer Goodies along to purdue. They should be good enough to "get
started with", but I doubt they'll be completely compatible with the v1.1
release. See the attached note that I sent to the moderators.

Sorry. I've had quite a few requests for these since the v1.04 posting, and
their just too big to be email'ing around (about 200K, uuencoded). Maybe
purdue will expedite posting these, since they don't need to be "tested".

vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv note to moderators vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

This, and the following 3 parts are the developer files from the ARP
v1.04 distribution. To my knowledge, equivalent files for the v1.1
distribution have not been released yet (I've not seen them posted
anywhere, and according to the fellow who sent you the v1.1 ARP cmds,
lib, and user docs, neither has he.

The developer docs were in the previous posting of ARP v1.04 that I
sent you. These files provide the bindings, includes, examples, etc.
for Manx, Lattice, and TDI Modula2 (don't know what compiler revision
dependencies there may be).

There have been some changes between v1.04 and v1.1, so the enclosed
files may or may not be valid for the v1.1 distribution (but should
be OK when working with v1.04 of arp.library, etc.)

Hopefully, one of thease days, a *complete* distribution of ARP will
show up all nicely zoo'd together with all the file names correct, and
with the directory structure intact. I was hoping this would be true
for the v1.1 release (which is why I was holding off posting these),
but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I've had numerous requests for thes files since the posting of v1.04, but
have been telling people to please wait for the v1.1 versions. Since that
may be awhile, I hope you'll expedite the posting of these files. Should
need no "testing" other than to make sure they unarc OK.

Just unshar the four postings, cat together (with no blank lines in
between) to form "arpdev104.uue", uudecode, and then unarc (and unarc,
and unarc, ...)

Could some kind soul please send me a copy of the arp header files, I have
arpBase.h but don't have arpfunctions.h

If there are others I need as well as these two then could you please mail
those also.

Many thanks
