It does seem odd, doesn't it, that Commodore BUSINESS Machines can't seem (or doesn't want) to get their _act_ together in the business area. It is as if somebody (ies) at the very top have a DEATH WISH for commodore ... after all ... they're not a computer company (as I was once told) ! And since CBM is a bunch of disjoint yet seemingly- connected entities, it's easy to keep things from working together. (I'd better stop now before my temperature starts rising again) (Commodore marketing ... a contradiction in terms)

Obviously the statements that appear in the referenced article are inacurate, as can be seen by the considerable efforts we are making in working with software developers to create products for corporate environments and in our hardware developments. Commodore will be sending a letter to the editor of the publication as a rebuttal. The article was rather positive and factual with the exception of that misquote. In the lastest issue they again critize the Unix OS. CBM is working on a version of SVR4 (true?) which could be the Amigas last best hope for cracking the corporate and federal desktop. Meanwhile a major Amiga publication has twice now (that I've seen) done and axe job on Unix with half-truths and hearsay. You don't have to like Unix but ANY hardware/software package than can help CBM sell more Amigas should be welcomed. Again, Amiga World shows all the intelligence of a blank eprom.
