Speaking of MUSIC PROGRAMS...... Has anyone tried MED (Music Editor) on ff255... It is THE BEST music program out for the Amiga. MED has only four voices using IFF samples, but it is very easy to use. The program isn't MIDI capable. One really good feature MED has is the MED2C program which will convert you music programs into C code for your programs. I have seen DMCS and SONIX and I agree - They do SUCK!! (Especially the price.) If you don't agree, then I suggest you try it!! /////////////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ / Sam Isaac, CS major at University Of Nevada Reno | STOP THE ABUSE OF \ / net: isaac@tahoe.unr.edu | MR. The problem with MED (and similar programs like SoundTracker) is the interface, or lack thereof. Lots of pretty gadgets, but no real music notation. And DMCS and Sonix, for all their flaws, DO have that. Lists of numbers may be fine for a MIDI sequencer (which MED isn't) but it stinks for any real composition work.
