Attn: comp.os.vms readers The following message deals with an Amiga question. I am cross-posting this in case there is a VMS person out there who also uses VLT. I seem to recall reading that ome of the reasons VLT was created (at SLAC, I believe) was to use with TeX. I have been trying for some time to get VLT to work with the TeX previewer, but all to no avail. I have tried several Tek emulations, but they all don't seem to work. The previewer I am using is called with the command $ dvitovdu/resolution=300 [filename].DVI (VMS) If I use just Terse or Block mode, everything is fine, of course. However, if I use Full, the graphics screen starts dumping garbage each time the previewer searches a new font package. By the time the previewer has gone through the several fonts, there is junk all over the screen. The problem, here, is that VLT doesn't recognize the excess as junk. Thus, a redraw command issued to VLT will redraw the junk as well. Is there a fix to this?
