***FLAME ON*** I am seeing an inordinate number of messages going through COMP.SYS.AMIGA (100+/day) and this kind of trash dosted by -->barrett@jhunix.HCF.JHU.EDU (Dan Barrett)<-- wastes everybodys time and isn't even funny. >> I am SO GLAD that EVERYBODY AND HIS MOTHER is posting the COMPLETE >>Educational Discount price list SO MANY TIMES!! Please don't waste our time with outright trash. If you don't like everybody posting complete price lists, say so, don't waste extra bandwidth on the net. Also, now you have said so and so said such and such. This is an outright lie and lies spread via the net can cause everyone trouble. ***Flame Off*** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------- Robert M. WHY DIDN'T THEY LET US UPGRADE OUR A1000's TO THE LATEST It's really not so hot for those of us interested in expanding current systems. I bought my A2000 last July EVEN before they had educational pricing and now. I only have 30+ days to buy the individual components that I need. I'd like a Bridgecard and '030 card, but cannot afford both. Do I have to buy more to get what I need later? CBM really needs to rethink this policy and make components as easily accessible to students now as well as later. Everyone call and yell at them. -- David W.
