[comp.sys.amiga] Orphaned Response

Regarding uihub:
Since Lionel Hummel has moved on, I've taken over uploading the disks to that
machine. It's not what you'd call reliable, and it also appears that people
on the futher reaches of the galaxy (ie, > 5 miles away) cannot reach it.
I'm gonna try and figure it out next week; if I can't, I'm going to see if
we can't abandon it for a better machine somewhere else on campus.

Uihub (128.174.252.27) is leaving us forever. All the disks that were on
there should be available from mrcnext.cso.uiuc.edu (128.174.73.105) or
uxe.cso.uiuc.edu (128.174.5.54).

Sorry for the short notice; I've been out of town.

Being a college student, and the owner of an A1000, I was wondering if
it is possible to trade in my A1000 in conjunction with the educational
prices. The question is, if I use the educ. prices, what do I do with
my A1000 ??

What about those of us who bought 2000s just prior to the start of the
educational discount program and wouldn't mind upgrading to a 2500.
Any thoughts, rumors, etc. on possible trade in? Thanks.
