I bought my 2000 in september and shortly afterwards got a used A2052 at a great price, but without any kind of manuals/docs. Not that it seemed to matter... I plugged it in and it worked fine. Then along came Super Agnus. I installed this shortly after Christmas, and I've been guruing seemingly randomly ever since. The most common of these was 00000003.0026XXXX -- address error. Today I finally found something that was almost a guaranteed crash -- one of the sample programs that came with PDC would _always_ crash with an 00000003 when I tried to compile it. Just out of curiosity, I pulled out the 2052 and tried it then... it worked!! I managed to use 'make' to compile all the programs in the sample directory, something I'd never succesfully done before. So apparently, somewhere along the line, the 2052 was messing something up. Has anybody else had similar problems? There are two jumpers on the 2052. One says "2MB RAM", the other says "A25000" (yes, 3 0's). Both are currently open. Would closing either of these make a difference? Is there any other way to get my this thing to work, short of selling it and buying a newer expansion board (something which is currently not an economically sound idea for me... :-( ). If it makes a difference, my setup consists of: A2000 Rev4.5 motherboard Supra 2400zi internal modem Supra Wordsync HD controller super agnus 68010 (gurued just as much w/the 68000, so I doubt the '010 is the problem). Thanks for any info/help/free money/cheap '030 boards you'd care to offer. -- Gibberish .sig for sale or lease. is spoken Contact don@vax1.acs.udel.edu for more information. here. Oops! Spoke to soon. It did it again, without 2052. Barring 2052 problems, any ideas what my problem might be (please don't tell me I messed up the motherboard somehow in the process of installing Super Ag...)? These gurus are getting pretty bothersome! -- Gibberish .sig for sale or lease. is spoken Contact don@vax1.acs.udel.edu for more information. here. DISCLAIMER: It's all YOUR fault.
