Hi.

Has anybody managed to download any software from the lancs.pdsoft library?
I seem to be having terrible difficulties. Is it possible to connect the Amiga
up via a terminal emulator and download the software directly in Amiga format
or do you have to use a DOS to DOS utility after downloading the programs on
a PC?

Please send me detailed instructions.

Thanks in advance.#

Its simple really.

The way I do it is to use VT100 on the amiga connected to an EPAD and call
lancs.pdsoft

username is pdsoft, password is pdsoft.
cd micros/amiga (its horrible unix y' see)
check out the various subdirs from there and kermit them directly to the amiga.

You will then need to uudecode and unzoo most of them.

Hope it helps... email me direct if you need more info.

p.s. most of their stuff is a bit out of date now though.
