Don Bird (Byrd)(?) who was and possibly still is at the School of Music,
Indiana University, Bloomington, has the best music writing set-up I've
seen. There are several others too; it shouldn't be difficult to find
one that meets your needs.....

Lippold Haken at the University of Illinois has a very snazzy system with
really nice user interface. You can call him at 217-333-0766.

The Univ. of Maryland Music Department is looking for software to
generate (preferably publishable quality) music scores for a project
editing the works of C.P.E. Bach. Leads appreciated.
	----------
The Music Department at MIT is heavily into computers for many applications.
I remember that music score generation was one of them from an article
in the MIT paper. You can contact them at:
	Music Section, Dept. of Humantities
	M.I.T.
	77 Massachusetts Ave.
	Cambridge, MA 02139

PS: I tried mailing this to umcp-cs!glenn but our uumail couldn't
find your site in our database.
