[comp.sys.amiga] For Sale: Byte-by-Byte Pal Jr. and 2MB memory

Can you say A1000-->A2000 exchange program? I knew you could!

For sale:

 (a) Byte-by-Byte 2MB autoconfig memory board for old Zorro expansion
boxes. I have been using this in my Byte-by-Byte Pal Jr. box.
Fully populated with 8 256Kb SIMM arrays. Expandable to 8MB if
you replace the 256Kb SIMM arrays with 1Mb arrays. Works perfectly.

 (b) Byte-by-Byte Pal Jr. expansion box, with Seagate 40MB disk drive.
This is a 2 slot old Zorro expansion box. One slot is occupied by
a Byte-by-Byte DMA disk controller card that provides an ST-506
interface for up to two drives (no SCSI), 1MB RAM mapped at
$C00000 and a battery-backed up clock. The other slot is
presently occupied by the 2MB RAM board listed above. Original
shipping carton, floppy with hddisk.driver software, and manual.

The drive is flakey at times (wow -- honesty!). By "flakey"
I mean that sometimes it "locks up" (disk light stays on solid).
It is my experience that keeping the box cool will keep you out
of trouble, but no guarantees. Nevertheless, the expansion box
is still useful if you keep it cool, or ignore the disk and
treat it as a bunch of memory, or if you have a better disk.

The best reasonable offer takes either, or both.
