[comp.sys.amiga] Which C Compiler?

don@vax1.acs.udel.EDU (Donald R Lloyd) (03/06/90)

I'm sort of in the market for a C compiler (hope to buy one at AmiExpo
DC in a few weeks). I'm relatively new to C (one 2-credit summer course
last summer) and haven't done much OS-level work (i.e. accessing various
libraries, etc.)... most of the programming I've done so far in school
has been in modula-2 under Unix for a few data-structure type classes.
Anyway, I like C, like my Amiga, and would like to get the two together
sometime (other than PDC, which I have but get very little use out of).
My question (in case you haven't already guessed) is....
	Manx or LAttice?
Both packages are around v5.xx now, right? What do they include, how
bug-free are they, what kind of support can I get, and most importantly for a
quasi-beginner like me... which one has the best documentation?

	Thanks for any info.
