Greetings!! Please bear with any mistakes in the appearance of this post as it is my first..... I recently purchased an Amiga 2500/30/PC which I am very pleased with but I am having a slight problem. I installed the A2286 Bridgeboard myself along with the 5.25" drive. After meticulously following the instructions in the enclosed manual, I attempted to boot the PC side. It went through what the manual said it should up to the point where it was supposed to load some file off the 5.25" floppy. The drive light comes on and I am greeted with the message: "Boot Failure, please check disk and press any key to try again." Now I admit that I am not a hardware expert but I reseated the board and reconnected all the cables and checked the files on the floppy but it just doesn't want to work. I highly doubt that it is a problem with the board just because it got so close. What do you think? Does it sound like the drive or maybe the floppy? Loose connection? Faulty cables? I am at a total loss. Any and all help will be rewarded with my deepest gratitude. Thank you for listening. James Sibley E-Mail: sibley@pawl.rpi.edu
