I am trying to track down why VTOT ("Video Tools on Tap") works on one of my
Amigas but not on another.
It seems to work correctly on an A500 that has floppies only, 1Mb of RAM and
1/2 meg chip memory. However, it loads but seems to do nothing when I load it
on a different system consisting of an A500 with the GVP Impact controller,
Quantum 40 Mb hard disk, total of 3Mb of RAM and 1Mb chip memory.
My guess is that something about the configuration of the bigger system is
causing a problem. First guess would be the 1Mb chip memory since it came out
after the program was written.
Is anyone successfully using VTOT with any of the above options? If so it
would help narrow down the possibilities.
Also, I checked back with the author's BBS that was the original source for
this program and it still had the same version. Does anyone know about a newer
version or a way to get the sources?
