I just noticed a couple days ago that the clock in my 2000 is hosed. It thought it was June 1978. I reset it, and then it seemed to be ok, (i.e. it keeps time), but then when I turned back on again a couple days later, it's 1978 again. I assume that it's a simple case of a dead battery, but I wanted to make sure that something else isn't causing it. I'm kind of surprised that the battery would die so soon; I've only had my machine for a year and a half. (Of course, there's no telling how long it was sitting around with that battery being drained before I got it, right?)
