[comp.sys.amiga] Ami-Expo -- D.C.

nfs1675@dsac.dla.mil (Michael Figg) (03/07/90)

This is hardly an Amiga question, but I don't have access to any better
newsgroups (rec.travel etc.).

Going to D.C. nexxt week for Ami-Expo and that means I HAVE to go to Tower
Records. Does anybody know where it is in D.C.? It seems like I have heard that
it is in Tyson Corner, Va., but am not sure. I would love directions/address
if possible (this is your chance to tell me where to go, and I probably
deserve it posting this to c.s.a).
					      Thanks,

Sorry Guys...my mail bounced so I'm posting the answer...

Tower Records is at 2000 Pennsylvania Ave NW in DC. I can't recall what
Metro station it is located near but it is near one. If I had to guess it
would be the Dupont Circle. If you are really interested we can arrange
to meet at Ami-Expo (My God...my company actually gave me the day off ;^) ).
Send me mail at

xrtnt@csdr.gsfc.nasa.gov OR TRY xrtnt@csdr.span.nasa.gov

and maybe my mailer can reply correctly. If you cant get me mail then phone
(voice) me at (301)345-7783.

Have Fun,

Nigel

Yes, there is a Tower in Tyson's. If you are coming into Dulles Airport,
you will have to take the Dulles Toll Road (267, I believe) to get anywhere.
You will be heading toward DC roughly at this point. All the exits are
numbered (they will increase the farther you get from the airport). Take
exit 7 (which will put you on Route 7, by the way, and going into Tyson's
Corner). Tower is in a shopping mall on the RIGHT (NOT in the big Tyson
shopping mall on the left) set back from the street past the Embassy Suites
Hotel.

Enjoy!
